Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to continue your family history research, we look forward to welcoming you. The SCGS Family Research Library is located on Irving Drive, north of Scott Road and south of Buena Vista Street. Ample free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the library. Restaurants and coffee shops are located within walking distance.
Metro bus service is available on Glenoaks Boulevard, less than a half-block from the library. We're also just two miles from Hollywood Burbank Airport and conveniently located near Interstate 5.
Our Next Chapter
The Southern California Genealogical Society is planning for its next chapter. As our current lease approaches its end, the Board of Directors is actively seeking a new home for the Family Research Library, with the goal of remaining in the greater Burbank area. Until a new location is announced, all library services, meetings, and events continue
at our Irving Drive location.
