About the Webinar

Join us on Saturday, November 1, at 10 a.m. PDT for a revealing SCGS Webinar with Mary Risseeuw, presenting "Wisconsin Historical Society: An Overlooked Resource you Need to Explore!"

The Wisconsin Historical Society is the largest North American collection after the Library of Congress and in the top five U.S. institutions for genealogical and historical research. The family history collection covers all of the United States.  It holds the second largest newspaper collection after the Library of Congress with over 4,000 titles covering U.S., U.S. possessions and 13 Canadian provinces.  There are also 14 regional history centers throughout Wisconsin with additional collections. Learn how this often-overlooked resource may be just what you need to jumpstart your research!
