About the Event

Forensic research is defined as cases with legal implications and requires advanced research skills in family history research. DNA and what could be referenced as conventional research are needed for both types of research but must be used for forensic cases. Case studies may include an Irish-American family, an adoption, probate, and others, using the fundamentals of the important Genealogical Proof Standards and very precise source citations.

Presenter Sheila Benedict has been a genealogist for over 30 years.
