The Searcher

SCGS's award-winning quarterly publication, The Searcher,  informed and engaged members since the mid-1960s. Content included SCGS news, area events, research tips, website suggestions, and recent acquisitions. The Searcher also features original genealogical articles, family histories, and reminiscences.

For many years, former SCGS President Alice Fairhurst was the talented and dedicated editor of The Searcher before she decided to "retire."
