Hair length and styles for men and women say much about the person and personality, and things change over time. Our early ancestors had full beards, and only later began to shave. Removing hair has been interesting, painful, and sometimes dangerous throughout human history. Men tend to shave their faces, while women shave their legs. The importance of hair is influenced by religion, society, medical conditions, financial status, and more. Learn how our ancestors shaved their whiskers, and so much more! Mark himself has shaved with only a straight razor for over a decade.
