About the Webinar
Let’s look at off-the-beaten-track Civil War Era records. When researching Confederate soldiers, varied records were created in North Carolina and other southern states. And let’s not forget the women, children &elderly left on the home front. Records regarding Union soldiers are also mentioned. Most of the talk focuses on records not held by NARA to introduce attendees to records beyond those usually explored/sought.
