SCGS Launches WikiTreers User Group
Whether you're new to WikiTree or have been using it for years, the new SCGS WikiTreers user group offers a welcoming place to learn, collaborate, and share ideas with fellow genealogists.
Led by longtime Germanic genealogist and WikiTree user Gordon Seyffert, the group is designed for all experience levels. Rather than formal lectures, meetings emphasize discussion, problem-solving, and sharing what members have learned as they explore WikiTree together. Beginners are encouraged to attend, and experienced users are invited to exchange tips and discoveries in a relaxed, supportive setting.
WikiTree is a collaborative family tree that allows researchers to build and preserve family histories supported by sources. Gordon hopes the group will encourage members to delve deeper into their research while helping ensure their work can continue to benefit future generations.
