About the Event
SCGS's free online Lunch & Learn Educational Series will host Leslie Anderson, who will present "“Advanced Strategies for Virginia’s Slave Birth”" on Saturday, June 14, from 1 to 2 p.m. PDT.
Apply advanced strategies to the six-volume Virginia Slave Births Index, 1853–1865, to reveal informants, infant and mother names, birthdates, and birthplaces that are obscured in challenging records.
