Save the Date: Celebrating Our SCGS Library Volunteers
One of our most cherished pre-Pandemic traditions is returning.
On Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., SCGS will host a Library Volunteer Luncheon to honor those who have shared their time, skills, and generous spirit in our library over the past year.
The Southern California Genealogical Society Family Research Library simply would not exist without its volunteers. They greet visitors, assist researchers, care for our collections, support programs and publications, and quietly handle countless behind-the-scenes tasks. Their dedication keeps our community welcoming, vibrant, and strong — and helps ensure that family stories and historical records are preserved for generations to come.
This gathering is our opportunity to pause, reconnect, and say a heartfelt thank you to our library volunteers.
Invited library volunteers will receive an invitation by email only as the date approaches.
