About the Event
Due to the catastrophic and unprecedented fires in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, the Southern California Genealogical Society Library will be closed this week, January 14 to January 16, with plans to reopen on Saturday, January 18. Our hearts and prayers go to those who have been personally affected by the wildfires and who may have lost their homes or temporarily relocated due to evacuation. It is estimated that the economic cost of the fires could exceed $50 billion, according to The New York Times.
