About the Event
The Southern California Genealogical Society's Italian Interest Group will meet virtually on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Italian Patriots & Hidden Italian Records
In recognition of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebration, we will discuss two Revolutionary-era patriots of Italian heritage who played important roles in our nation’s founding. We’ll also enjoy a presentation on an often-overlooked yet genealogically valuable collection of Italian civil records. (Hint: It’s neither birth, marriage, nor death related.)
There will be time for open discussion among members, so bring your research questions, brick-wall issues, ideas for future topics, or any other items to share.
