About the Event

In the second part of a Lunch & Learn double-header, Huihan Lie presents “Introducing My China Roots: A Database for Chinese Family History Research" on Saturday, May 11, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. PDT.

My China Roots is the leading genealogy platform for individuals of Chinese heritage to learn about their ancestry. Featuring over 2.5 million records of Chinese immigrant ancestors and a family tree builder designed for Chinese families, participants will learn about the key challenges in Chinese genealogy and how to navigate the tools on My China Roots.

Huihan Lie founded My China Roots 12 years ago after tracing his own family history from the Netherlands to China via Indonesia.
