About the Event

Theater professor and historian Miguel Garcia will discuss his ancestors, who were written about in his cousin Hilario Rubio Jr.'s book, La Gente Del Otro Lado: A Historical, Economic and Genealogical Survey of Rociada, New Mexico in a Zoom presentation during a hybrid meeting hosted by the Genealogical Society of Hispanic America-So Cal on Saturday, May 3, at 11 a.m. PST.


Rociada is a small village about 27 miles northwest of the New Mexico town of Las Vegas, near the Santa Fe National Forest, in San Miguel County.
