About the Event
Everyone is welcome to attend the annual Fall Potluck lunch hosted by the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Southern California on Wednesday, October 30, from noon to 2 p.m. Several people will bring their favorite French-Canadian dishes along with copies of favorite recipes inherited from family "chefs." Or, bring a favorite potluck dish! Attendees are also encouraged to bring a photo of the family chef.
Participants can share memories, recipes, and personal stories of cooking with family, the best chefs in the family, and food-oriented holidays (that would be most, right?) Group leader Suzy Goulet hopes that a cookbook might be generated from this get-together.

The French-Canadian Research Team meets in the Library each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you're looking for tips on researching your French-Canadian ancestors, come in and get some help from the Research Team.
