Spring is here and so is the next SCGS Family Tree Maker User Group meeting on Sunday, April 14. Topic: How to Work With Facts (Part 2) Handout: Tip #33 How to Work with Facts (Rev) Part 1. We are continuing the series on Working with Facts in Family Tree Maker. This session will be devoted to how facts appear and are used in CHARTS and REPORTS. After looking at the Pedigree chart, we will closely look at all aspects of the custom person report. This will include the use of people filters, handling multiple fact instances, sorting options, and the inclusion of notes, sources, page numbers and preparer information. Output options (print, PDF, CSV) will be given close scrutiny including detailed instructions for sending the custom report data for use with spreadsheets like Excel for advanced sorting and editing.
