The Southern California Genealogical Society's DNA Interest Group hosts genealogist Adrian Foushee in a hybrid meeting on Saturday, August 30, at 10 a.m. PDT online and at the SCGS Library in Burbank. Janine will discuss "Why GEDMatch is Still a Must-Have in Your DNA Toolbox."
About the Presentation, 'Big Y and Cloud Connections'
GEDMatch is a toolbox, in basic and deluxe models, for genetic genealogical research. It has been a third-party genetic genealogy site for 15 years. Adrian's presentation will be an introduction to the site and its features. Although focused on a beginner’s level, Adrian will also touch on some advanced tools.
