About the Event
The British Isles Interest Group of the Southern California Genealogical Society is proud to host Curtis Bajak at its online meeting on Sunday, October 23, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. PDT. Curt will present "Using Legal Principles to Advance Genealogical Research."
About the Presentation
Some knowledge of basic legal principles can enable the researcher to draw more information out of documentary sources--and sometimes proves to be the only way to solve specific, difficult genealogical questions. Curt will discuss basic legal principles and provide examples, drawn primarily from the Colonial American period, of the genealogical puzzles they can help solve.
Curtis Bajak is a member of SCGS's British Isles Interest Group and an avid genealogical researcher.
