The Southern California
Genealogy Jamboree and Resource Expo is a three-day gathering of
genealogists, family historians, experts, novices, exhibitors,
vendors, genealogical society leaders, speakers and others who
are interested in tracing their roots. In its
38th year, the Genealogy Jamboree, produced each year by the Southern
California Genealogical Society, is one of the longest-running genealogical
conferences on the West Coast.
The 2007 Genealogy Jamboree is
expected to draw nearly 1000 participants during the three-day
event.
We encourage our participants to pre-register
to make sure they receive a copy of the conference syllabus. Early
bird discounts are available for early registrants and for SCGS
members. The 2007 Jamboree is sponsored by Ancestry.com,
the NSU Creole Heritage Center, the California State Genealogical
Alliance, the International Society of Family History Writers and
Editors, and Legacy Family Tree.
