In addition to assessing traditional genealogical sources of information for relevance, the Chinese Family History Group of SoCal group are looking at sources of information particular to their roots, such as backgrounds on family surnames, maps of common ancestral areas, Exclusion Act records, specific questions for oral interviews based on specific historical research, and local sources of information as yet untapped.
