Our Research Team staffs the SCGS library each Wednesday.
The team is available to assist you with your research or conduct it for you
for a nominal fee. Visit the Research
Team page on the FCHSC website for details on how to request help.
DNA - FCHSC also sponsors the French Heritage DNA
Project as a way of honoring our French ancestry. Visit the www.frenchdna.org
website to find out how to join the project and to see test results for over
2,000 members from the United States, Canada, France, and all over the globe.
Honor your French-Canadian heritage by helping to establish the DNA signature
of your earliest ancestor. For more information, contact Alice Fairhurst (626)
646-3037 or email alicefairhurst@gmail.com.
Let's Get Together - FCHSC meets at least twice a year from
10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the SCGS library. Each meeting generally consists of
a program of French-Canadian interest in addition to helping one another with
individual research. Check the FCHSC
website for meeting dates and programs. If you have never attended one of
our meetings, come and get acquainted with your genealogical cousins
or cousines.
