Stephanie, a semi-retired librarian working part-time for the San Diego County Library system, was a college and university librarian. She has been a speaker at IAJGS (International Association of Jewish Genealogical
Societies) Conferences since 2003, has provided training in online genealogy for staff members and the general public, and has been a featured speaker on genealogy for several libraries in San Diego County and for the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Washington (Seattle).
As an adoptee, Stephanie has an abiding interest in access to vital records.
She has worked with grassroots adoption organizations and has presented on the topic of adoption, orphans, and non-traditional families. Her most recent project has been the preparation of an online teaching module for the Jewish Education Council of Seattle. Stephanie is currently a member of the IAJGS Public Records Access and Monitoring Committee.
