SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
 

Dardashti, a native New Yorker based in Tel Aviv, focuses on Jewish genealogy as researcher, journalist, blogger, online instructor and international speaker.  For nearly 20 years, she's been tracing the DARDASHTI and TALALAY families across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.

She writes Tracing the Tribe - The Jewish Genealogy Blog (since 2006); was the Jerusalem Post genealogy columnist ("It's All Relative," 1999-2005), taught online Jewish genealogy at MyFamily.com, and is co-founder of GenClass.com, offering a multitude of online genealogy classes.  

She is the former three-term president of the five-branched JFRA Israel (member, International Association of of Jewish Genealogical Societies - IAJGS).
