Michael John Neill has actively researched his family history for twenty-five years. He gives all-day seminars on a variety of genealogy topics and writes “Casefile Clues” for Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter.  He also leads an annual group research trip to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

Friday 3:00 p.m.  FR-010. Re-Stacking the Blocks: Organizing Your Information.  Putting your information together is as important as obtaining it. Organizing, sorting, and categorizing will allow you to notice overlooked details and further your research.  [I]

Saturday 8:30 a.m.  SA-031.  From New Jersey to Ohio—Establishing an Early Nineteenth Century Migration Trail. This lecture discusses a family’s part in a twenty year migration across three Eastern states. You will learn research strategies for determining your ancestor’s migration chain.  [I]

Saturday 2:00 p.m.  SA-049.  Pig Blood in the Snow: Court Records Can Solve Problems. Three colorful extended examples from across the United States will bring home the importance of court records for all genealogists.  [I]
