Leland Meitzler founded Heritage Quest in 1985, editing Heritage Quest Magazine until 2006. In April of 2006, Mr. Meitzler took the job of Managing Editor for Everton’s Genealogical Helper.

Leland does a daily blog that can be found at GenealogyBlog.com, as well as a German genealogy blog, found at GermanGenealogyBlog.com. He has conducted tours to Salt Lake City, Utah since 1985. The 2008 Tour is the 24th annual Salt Lake City Christmas Tour.

Mr. Meitzler has given over 2000 genealogical lectures. He believes that genealogy research is both fun and rewarding. His lectures reflect just that, and audiences always go away motivated to do more genealogy.
