One of the speakers at our Sunday morning breakfast is Gary Boyd Roberts, an expert in the genealogies of U.S. Presidents and descendants of royal lineages. In addition, Gary will be offering one-on-one consultations at the NEHGS booth. NEHGS is a sponsor of this year's Jamboree.
Gary Boyd Roberts is the Senior Research Scholar of the New England Historic Genealogical Society. A native of Houston, Texas, Gary received a B.A. from Yale University and a M.A. from the University of Chicago. He was also a graduate student at the University of California at Berkeley.
Gary joined the NEHGS staff in 1974 and has since held the following

Senior Research Scholar - 1996-present
Gary is a nationally renowned genealogist, teacher, lecturer, author, and editor. He is a former member of the Society of Genealogists and the Connecticut Society of Genealogists.

Gary's genealogical interests include immigrant origins and royal descents; royal and noble genealogy; the ancestry of notable figures, especially presidents; colonial New England, mid-Atlantic states, and the South; the editing of major compendia; and writing and lecturing on all of these topics.
