David Lifferth is the President World Vital Records, Inc. Since his appointment to President of Word Vital Records by Paul Allen, CEO of World Vital Records, he has overseen the growth of membership to more than 10,000 members and the launch of the FamilyLink.com social network for genealogists and family historians. He also serves as Executive Vice President of Provo Labs, LLC.
Prior to his work at World Vital Records, Lifferth worked for Ancestry.com where he worked as a content engineer. He was involved in releasing over 1 billion individual records online including UK Census, Military Records, Birth, Marriage and Death indexes, and many other important databases.

Mr. Lifferth is involved in his community and has served as Mayor and is currently on the City Council in Eagle Mountain. Mr. Lifferth and his wife, Mary, and five children are enthusiastic soccer fans. Mr. Lifferth is the oldest of 10 children and is active in his extended family organizations. He served as President of the Lifferth Family Organization in 2001. He has implemented many innovated features into the family history and genealogy research for his extended family organizations. He has been tasked with maintaining the master set of genealogy records for his family organization.
